Results

The majority of our residents enter ANRC after a stay in an acute care setting. All such patients are screened in advance to assure that the Center is an appropriate placement.

Families of prospective residents are encouraged to visit the Center and meet with staff prior to admission; however, this step is not required for residents who are expected to return home after rehabilitation. Hospital case managers and discharge planners will make referrals to us upon request by the patient or his/her family.

Residents who are unable to return home after rehabilitation may qualify to remain in the Center as a long-term care resident. The Center also accepts MassHealth. Our staff will assist with completing an application, if appropriate.

Some residents transition to our long-term care directly from home or an assisted living facility. In such situations, a tour of the facility and a meeting with a member of the Admissions Committee is required in advance. A financial application will also be required.
